Lagos Man Shares Police Encounter: Stopped for Driving New Car Without Plates, Extorted ₦50,000

A Lagos resident has shared his troubling experience with police officers who stopped him for driving his newly purchased and registered car without a plate number, just a day after buying it.

 According to him, despite explaining the situation, the officers allegedly went on to extort ₦50,000 from him.

 He also posted photos of the officers involved, urging the public to see their faces and raising concerns about police misconduct in the city.
