Lagos Government Launches ‘Waste to Cash’ Initiative 

The Lagos State Government has unveiled a new “Waste to Cash” initiative, encouraging residents to exchange their household waste for money as part of a broader plan to promote recycling and maintain a cleaner environment.

The program aims to reduce waste pollution, create green jobs, and encourage citizens to adopt sustainable waste management practices.

 Residents will be able to drop off recyclables such as plastic bottles, cans, and paper at designated collection centers in exchange for cash rewards.
