Lagos Court Sentences Woman for N4.5 Million Internet Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, secured a conviction on Thursday, July 3, 2025, against one Hannah Okunlola Adesokan, who was found guilty of obtaining money under false pretence.

Adesokan was first arraigned on May 23, 2025, alongside six others, including Samuel Ihechukwu, Fabian Chizaram, and Kingsley Kelechi Ejim employees of a first generation bank on multiple charges related to conspiracy and fraud amounting to N8.5 billion.
