Lagos Court Fines VeryDarkMan N200,000  

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has fined social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), a total of N200,000 after dismissing his preliminary objections to a N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed by human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, musician Folarin Falana (Falz).

Justice Fimisola Azeez ruled that VDM’s objections lacked merit, imposing N100,000 fines in favor of both Femi Falana and Falz. The judge also ordered VDM to file his defense immediately in the ongoing suit.
