Akpabio Urges Lawmakers to Focus on Governance, Not Power Struggles

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has cautioned lawmakers against turning their roles into constant battles with the executive arm of government.

 Emphasizing the need for collaboration, Akpabio noted that legislators were elected to serve the people not to engage in confrontations with the presidency.

“If lawmakers exhaust their time and energy clashing with the executive, who then will be left to actually govern and deliver results for Nigerians?” he asked, stressing the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving national progress.
