Kenneth Okonkwo Meets Atiku Abubakar to Discuss Nigeria’s Future

Veteran actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, recently held a strategic meeting with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, where both men discussed ideas on how to move Nigeria forward.

Kenneth Okonkwo, who transitioned from Nollywood into politics, was a vocal supporter of Peter Obi during the 2023 general elections. As the spokesperson for the Labour Party (LP) campaign council, Okonkwo played a key role in Obi’s presidential bid.

However, in 2024, Kenneth Okonkwo parted ways with the Labour Party, publicly criticising Peter Obi’s leadership style. He accused Obi of failing to provide clear direction, leaving party members confused about the future of the party.

Following his exit from Labour Party, Okonkwo has now surfaced in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) camp, where he was hosted by Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate in the last election
