Iyabo Ojo Petitions Police Over Alleged Preferential Treatment of VeryDarkMan, Accuses CP Uche of Complicity

Nollywood actress and social activist Iyabo Ojo has filed a formal petition against the Nigerian Police and Commissioner of Police, CP Uche, accusing them of misconduct, breach of protocol, and failure to uphold the rule of law.

In the petition, Ojo raised serious concerns over the conduct of controversial social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM), who she alleges was allowed unauthorized access to her interrogation room during an ongoing police investigation. According to her, VDM who is himself facing criminal charges in a separate case entered the interrogation room uninvited and unannounced while she was being questioned, a move she described as an “intimidating and unlawful intrusion
