ICPC Clarifies Mistake in Student Loan Scheme Statement

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has issued a clarification regarding a mistake in a previous press release about its ongoing investigation into the Student Loan Scheme. 

The Commission admitted that an error in the wording of the statement created a misleading impression about the existence of discrepancies or diversions of funds.

The ICPC explained that the missing word "NOT" in a critical paragraph unintentionally suggested that a case of discrepancies had been confirmed.
