Lesley Kessy Oviritsa, one of the many victims of the CBEX investment scam, has shared how official certifications and a convincing front led her to trust the now exposed Ponzi scheme.

Introduced to CBEX by a fellow church member, Oviritsa took the initiative to verify the company's legitimacy. “They had registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and even possessed a SCUML certificate from the EFCC,” she said. “These documents gave me confidence.
