Real-Life Green Goblin? Chinese Inventor Goes Viral After Flying Homemade Hoverboard! ????????

A 26-year-old self-taught inventor from China’s Hubei Province, Song Xingyu, has gone viral after successfully flying a homemade skateboard inspired by the Green Goblin’s glider from Spider-Man.

Song reportedly spent about two months developing the flying device. His first prototype used five jet engines, but a fire during testing forced him to rethink the design.

His final version features 10 electric propellers similar to those found on large drones, reportedly producing enough thrust to lift four adults.

To improve flight control, Song also developed an AI-assisted monitoring system using two smartphones. The setup provides real-time flight data and voice instructions through Bluetooth earphones to help him maintain balance.

After more than 10 days of practice, he reportedly flew over the mountains and rivers of Hubei. On October 6, he covered more than 300 metres in just two minutes.

Despite leaving school at 14, Song taught himself engineering and has continued pursuing ambitious inventions, proving that determination and creativity can take people in extraordinary directions.
