Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he was once friends with convicted Nigerian fraudster and socialite Ramon Abbas, widely known as Hushpuppi.

In a candid podcast interview, Davido acknowledged knowing Hushpuppi personally but clarified that he had no knowledge of the fraudulent activities that eventually led to his arrest and imprisonment.

“Hushpuppi is coming out soon. He lived life,” Davido said. “To me, it’s not worth it to end up locked up. But some people are fine with balling for five years and calling it a wrap.”
