⚠ A typical patient presenting with a herpes virus infection may exhibit the following symptoms on her thigh:

- *Lesions:* Painful blisters or sores that may appear as small red bumps, which can burst and crust over.
  
- *Itching and Burning:* Itching or a burning sensation in the affected area, often preceding the appearance of blisters.

- *Swelling:* Localized swelling around the lesions may occur.

- *Discomfort:* General discomfort in the thigh area, especially when the lesions are active.

Additional Considerations

- *Recurrence:* Herpes simplex virus can remain dormant in the body and may recur during times of stress or illness.

- *Diagnosis:* Diagnosis is typically confirmed through clinical examination or laboratory tests.

- *Treatment:* Antiviral medications can help reduce the severity and duration of an outbreak.
