Governor Uba Sani Enacts N790 Billion 2025 Budget for Kaduna State

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has officially enacted the 2025 budget, titled "Sustaining Transformation and Inclusive Development," with a total allocation of N790,439,580,083. The budget emphasizes rural development, with capital expenditures set at N551,582,867,194 and recurrent expenditures totaling N238,856,712,888.86.

During the budget signing ceremony, Governor Sani commended the Kaduna State House of Assembly for their swift approval, which was achieved in just ten days following the budget's introduction. He noted that the legislature had summoned all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to present and justify their budget proposals, leading to thorough discussions and debates.

Sani praised the collaborative spirit of the assembly, stating, “Here in Kaduna State, I can say without fear of contradiction that we have the best House of Assembly in the country.” He highlighted the bipartisan approach, where members from both the APC and PDP focused on governance over politics.
