Georgia Police Rescue Toddlers Trapped in 117 Degree Car
Two toddlers were rescued by Georgia police officers after being found inside a parked car that had reached a dangerous internal temperature of 117 degrees Fahrenheit.
Authorities say the children's father, J’Quawn Dixon, left them alone in the vehicle for approximately 40 minutes while he went shopping inside a nearby mall.
Thanks to the swift response of the police, the children were pulled from the overheated car before tragedy could occur.
Dixon has since been taken into custody.
