Fubara Makes First Public Appearance After Suspension
Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has made his first public appearance since his removal from office following the state of emergency declaration in Rivers State.
Fubara was seen attending a Sunday service at the headquarters of Salvation Ministries in GRA, Port Harcourt, just days after President Bola Tinubu’s controversial March 19 directive.
President Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State due to political tensions and security concerns.
As part of the measure, Fubara, his deputy (Prof. Ngozi Odu), and all state assembly members were suspended.
Tinubu appointed Ibok-Ete Ibas as Sole Administrator to govern the state for an initial six-month period.
