Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has proposed the establishment of two buildings in Abuja dedicated to displaying images of individuals who have negatively impacted the country.

Speaking at the book launch of former Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase in Abuja on February 18, 2025, Jonathan emphasized the need for Nigerians to reject bad behavior and hold leaders accountable.

He stated, "Maybe one day, we will have two big buildings in Abuja where we will put pictures of people whether dead or alive who have messed up this country so that their grandchildren will know their forefathers were part of Nigeria’s problems."

Jonathan criticized the public's tendency to tolerate misconduct from political leaders, asserting that responsible governance will only emerge when citizens actively oppose unethical practices.

He remarked, "We, Nigerians, celebrate the wrong thing. And I believe one day, the country will get to the level where people will reject bad behavior.
