FORMER ‘LOVE & HIP HOP’ STAR D. SMITH ANNOUNCES HE’S LIVING AS A MAN AGAIN AFTER 12 YEARS AS A TRANSGENDER WOMAN
Grammy-nominated producer and filmmaker D. Smith has announced that he is now living as a man again, 12 years after coming out and living publicly as a transgender woman.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star shared the news on Instagram on September 17, posting a photo of himself dressed in masculine clothing as he opened up about the change.
Smith previously spoke about the impact of coming out as transgender on his career, saying that some collaborators distanced themselves from him, projects were reportedly pulled, and friends stopped returning his calls.
