The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to introduce a Super Bowl-style half-time show, marking a major shift in the tournament’s entertainment approach.

 FIFA President Gianni Infantino has even suggested Canadian rapper Drake as a potential performer for the spectacle.

The idea surfaced during a discussion with Rosanna Scotto, who hinted at a possible rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, especially after Lamar's performance at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show. Infantino revealed that Drake was present during the announcement of the World Cup host cities and showed genuine interest in collaborating with FIFA again.
