Federal Government Generates N6.9 Trillion Revenue in First Four Months of 2025 — Wale Edun

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has announced that the Federal Government recorded N6.9 trillion in revenue between January and April 2025.

Speaking during the second quarter 2025 Citizens and Stakeholders’ Engagement Session on fiscal performance and reforms held in Abuja on Monday, Edun noted that this represents a 40% growth compared to the N5.2 trillion generated during the same period in 2024.

“In the first four months of this year, we have seen a significant rise in revenue, and this positive trend is continuing. By the end of April, the government had generated around N6.9 trillion, and efforts to increase revenue collection remain a priority,” Edun stated.
