FCT Minister Rules Out 2027 Presidential Ambition, Backs President Tinubu

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has firmly ruled out any intention to run for president in the 2027 general elections, making it clear he will not oppose his current principal, President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, the minister stated that he has no plans to challenge Tinubu, emphasizing his loyalty and confidence in the President’s leadership.

“I’m not running again. Competing against someone I serve under makes no sense. Who else would even win, if not him?” he said during the interview.
