Ex-envoy Says Bukola Saraki Free to Rejoin APC, Cites Founding Membership

Femi Abodunrin, a former ambassador to Cameroon and prominent APC chieftain, has stated that former Senate President Bukola Saraki is free to return to the ruling party, noting that Saraki is a founding member.

The comment comes amid speculation that Saraki, currently a member of the PDP, has been engaging with APC members and may be considering a return to the party.

The APC in Kwara State had previously accused Saraki of “double politics,” claiming he presented himself as an opposition figure in the state while allegedly seeking favours from the ruling party at the federal level in Abuja.
