Everton have formally presented their plans to striker Liam Delap during a direct meeting this week, with manager David Moyes taking part in the discussions.

The Toffees are competing with Chelsea and Manchester United, both eager to secure the Ipswich forward’s signature.

 A £30 million release clause is reportedly in place.

Everton is prepared to offer Delap a significant salary package to persuade him to join their project.
