Music icon Elton John has shared a devastating update about his health, revealing that he has lost his sight due to a severe infection. The 77-year-old artist disclosed this personal news during a charity gala performance of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical. Addressing the audience, John stated, "As some of you may know, I have had issues and now I have lost my sight." This announcement followed his previous revelation about losing eyesight in his right eye just days earlier. During the emotional gala, Sir Elton expressed his appreciation for the performance, despite not being able to see it. "I haven’t been able to see the performance, but I have enjoyed listening to it," he noted, reflecting on the support he has received during this challenging time. John also credited his husband, David Furnish, for being a steadfast support. "To my husband, who’s been my rock... it’s hard for me to see them, but I love to hear them," he continued.
