DSS and Police Arrest 20 Suspected in JAMB 2025 UTME Results Hack

The Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force have arrested 20 individuals suspected of hacking into the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) 2025 Computer-Based Test (CBT) system.

The suspects, now in custody in Abuja, are believed to be part of a larger syndicate of over 100 members involved in breaching computer systems of national examination bodies like JAMB and NECO.

Investigations reveal the group installed malicious software on examination hardware, allowing remote access to JAMB servers at select CBT centres nationwide.
