Davido’s Aide, Israel, Calls for Edo Governor’s Resignation Over Election Dispute

Davido’s logistics manager, Israel Afeare, has publicly urged Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, to resign and hand over power to Asue Ighodalo, whom he claims was the rightful winner of the election.

In a social media post, Israel alleged that the state has been in turmoil since Okpebholo assumed office, attributing the unrest to what he described as electoral injustice. He further suggested that the “ancestors” are angered by the alleged election irregularities and predicted that the truth behind the situation would be revealed in the future, similar to the events surrounding the June 12 election.
