18 Cows Die After Grazing on Chemically Treated Farmland in Plateau State

Tragedy struck in the Vwei community of Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State, as 18 cows reportedly died after grazing on a recently fumigated farmland.

 The incident occurred around midday on Wednesday, when the herd, owned by one Dan'azumi Haruna, wandered into the treated area.

According to eyewitnesses, 11 of the animals died immediately due to exposure to the chemicals, while seven others had to be slaughtered due to contamination
