Chris Brown Detained in UK Over Alleged Nightclub Assault on Music Producer

American artist Chris Brown was taken into custody early Thursday at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, following accusations that he attacked a music producer with a bottle at a London nightclub in 2023. 

The 36-year-old was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers around 2 a.m., shortly after arriving in the UK on a private jet.

 He is currently being held on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm and is undergoing questioning.

The case relates to an incident on February 19, 2023, at Tape nightclub in Mayfair during an event called "Dirty Martini."
