Bala Mohammed Declares Readiness to Work with Peter Obi, Calls for Stronger Opposition

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, who also serves as the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, has openly declared his willingness to work with Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, to strengthen opposition politics in Nigeria.

Speaking after a private meeting with Obi at the Government House in Bauchi on Thursday, Mohammed described Obi as the face of opposition politics in Nigeria and commended his vision, leadership, and deep knowledge of governance and the economy.

> “We have a lot of respect and admiration for him because of his style of politics, his statesmanship, his versatile nature, and his deep knowledge of the economy and governance.”
