Amal Clooney Faces Potential US Travel Ban Under Proposed Sanctions

Amal Clooney, the renowned international human rights lawyer and wife of actor George Clooney, could face a travel ban to the United States under proposed sanctions from the Trump administration. 

Clooney, 47, along with other prominent British attorneys, has reportedly been "warned" about the sanctions, which could prevent her from entering the US, where the Clooneys own a home.

According to a report by the Financial Times, the UK Foreign Office has cautioned several high-profile barristers, including Clooney, regarding the potential sanctions. These sanctions stem from the legal advice they provided to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in a war crimes case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
