Alleged Political Agreement Between Fubara and Wike: Full Terms Explained

Fresh reports have revealed the details of an alleged political agreement between Governor Fubara and former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

 According to sources, the agreement was documented, signed, and sealed, outlining strict conditions that Governor Fubara must follow throughout his tenure.

One of the key points in the deal is that there will be no extension of tenure under Fubara’s leadership.

So he is reportedly restricted to serving only one term as governor, meaning he will not be seeking re-election.

 Additionally, the agreement mandates that local government elections must be conducted by October, ensuring a timely democratic process at the grassroots level.

Another significant part of the deal is the complete removal of key appointees linked to Fubara, including the Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and other critical positions.
