After 28 Years and Tens of Thousands of Miles, Adventurer Karl Bushby Finally Completes His Epic Journey Home!

British adventurer Karl Bushby embarked on an extraordinary mission in 1998, setting off from Chile to walk all the way back to his childhood home in Hull, England.

Determined to complete the challenge, he made two promises to himself: never return home until the journey was fully completed and never use transport to cover any part of the distance.

After crossing four continents and walking tens of thousands of miles, Karl finally made it back, telling cheering crowds in Hull: “It took the world to get me back here today.”

Reflecting on the incredible journey, he added: “The biggest team – Earth – got me back here.”
