Yvonne Jegede Speaks Out on Nedu, The Honest Bunch Podcast Saga

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has taken to social media to address her name being dragged into the ongoing controversy surrounding The Honest Bunch Podcast and its host, Nedu.

In her statement, she made it clear that she has moved on from her past unpleasant experience with the show. She recalled how promotional clips from her episode were cut in a way that attracted trolls, leading to intense online backlash.

 Even more upsetting, she revealed that while Nedu was privately messaging her on WhatsApp, he was also posting content that fueled negativity against her.

The backlash extended to her son’s social media page, forcing her to take it down after people flooded it with hateful comments. She also refuted claims that she paid to appear on the podcast, stating that such narratives were both false and damaging.

Despite her past anger, Jegede emphasized that she has forgiven Nedu and the show, rejecting calls to attack him now that he is facing backlash himself. She ended her statement by saying, "The best time to kick a man is certainly not when he is down. I wish him nothing but the best."
