Women Urge US Not to Intervene in Andrew Tate’s Romania Case

Four women who have accused social media influencer Andrew Tate of sexual abuse have urged the United States not to interfere in his ongoing legal case in Romania.

Their concern follows reports that US officials requested Romanian authorities to ease travel restrictions on Tate and his brother, Tristan, who hold dual UK-US nationality.

According to The Financial Times, a request was allegedly made to return their passports, allowing them to travel while awaiting trial.

The women’s lawyer, Matthew Jury, criticized the reported US intervention, saying they were “absolutely bewildered” by the Trump administration’s involvement. However, Romania has denied any external pressure from the US.

The Tate brothers, who are no longer under house arrest but still barred from leaving Romania, are also wanted in the UK for allegations of rape and human trafficking, which they strongly deny.
