The USS Abraham Lincoln, one of the US Navy’s aircraft carriers, arrived in Thailand on Wednesday, marking the end of an unusually long deployment in the Middle East.

The carrier’s extended stint in the region had raised concerns about the welfare and wellbeing of its crew, who spent months away from home.
