U.S. Mission in Nigeria Issues Warning Against Birth Tourism
The United States Mission in Nigeria has cautioned visa applicants against attempting to travel to the U.S. with the main intention of giving birth in order to obtain American citizenship for their child.
The mission stated clearly that such applicants will be denied entry, as the act is considered a misuse of the visa process and does not align with U.S. immigration policies.
