Uganda Refutes Claims of Hosting U.S. Deportees, Cites Lack of Capacity
The Ugandan government has dismissed reports suggesting it reached an agreement with the United States to accept migrants expelled from America.
Authorities clarified that no such deal exists, stressing that the country lacks the infrastructure to accommodate deported non citizens.
The statement comes after speculation that Washington had secured deportation arrangements with both Honduras and Uganda.
