Two Men Arrested Over Murder of Nigerian Man in Dublin

Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 34-year-old Quam Babatunde, a Nigerian asylum seeker, in Dublin, Ireland. 

Babatunde was attacked on South Anne Street in the early hours of Saturday, February 15, 2025.

One suspect was apprehended by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) in Belfast just before boarding a ferry. 

He is currently being held at a police station in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, a second suspect, a man in his 20s, was arrested in Dublin after police conducted searches this morning. He is now in custody at a Dublin police station.
