Trump Threatens to Sue BBC for $1 B Over Panorama Speech Edit
Former US President Donald Trump has announced he will sue the BBC for at least $1 billion, claiming the broadcaster “knowingly” edited his January 6, 2021 speech in a Panorama documentary to misrepresent his words. 
Trump’s lawyers have sent a letter demanding a full retraction, apology, and compensation, saying the edited version contained “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements.”
