Tinubu Orders Withdrawal of Police From VIPs, Approves Recruitment of 30,000 Officers Amid Security Crisis
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the immediate withdrawal of police officers attached to “very important persons” (VIPs) across the country, redirecting them to national security duties amid rising insecurity.
According to the Presidency, Tinubu also approved the recruitment of 30,000 new police officers to strengthen frontline security operations
