Tinubu Decorates National Assembly Leaders with National Honours

President Bola Tinubu has formally decorated top officers of the National Assembly with prestigious national honours during a special joint session.

Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, were both decorated with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).

Deputy Senate President Senator Jibrin Ibrahim Barau and Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu received the national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR).

The honours were previously conferred but formally presented by the President in recognition of their leadership and service to the nation
