Popular Nigerian skit maker Mark Angel has reacted to the ongoing political turmoil in Rivers State, urging residents to stay out of the battle between political leaders.

In a post addressing the state of emergency declared by President Bola Tinubu and the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and the state lawmakers, Mark Angel emphasized that the fight is strictly between politicians and not for the ordinary people.

"My fellow Rivers State people and Rivers State residents, this fight is not for you. It’s government vs. government," he stated.

His comment comes amid rising tensions and public outcry over the federal government’s decision.
