Terror Group Mahmuda Strikes Kwara Village
A newly-emerged terrorist group, Mahmuda, launched an attack on Duruma village (Karonji) in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State on Friday evening.
The militants arrived on motorcycles and began firing indiscriminately, setting a vehicle and several motorcycles belonging to the local vigilante group on fire.
However, local security operatives quickly responded and managed to repel the attackers, killing two militants during the ensuing gun battle.
