Tension in Super Eagles Camp as Players Demand $30,000 Per Win Ahead of World Cup Playoffs

Crisis is reportedly brewing in the Super Eagles camp as several players are demanding a special bonus of $30,000 per win ahead of their crucial World Cup playoff clash against Gabon.

Sources say some players have refused to train until they receive their unpaid bonuses, escalating tension within the squad.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), however, offered to maintain the usual $10,000 per win structure, adding $30,000 per goal against Gabon and $50,000 per goal in the playoff final as an incentive, an offer the players reportedly rejected.

Meanwhile, head coach Eric Chelle and several team officials have condemned the strike action
