Super Eagles Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Angola 

The aircraft transporting Nigeria’s Super Eagles from Polokwane, South Africa, to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for their final World Cup qualifier was forced to make an emergency landing in Luanda, Angola.

The Value Jet plane had initially stopped in Luanda to refuel, but about 25 minutes into the onward journey, the pilot made a U-turn after a loud crack appeared on the aircraft’s windshield, disrupting what began as a smooth flight.

Players, team officials, and government delegates on board have safely disembarked, and the airline is expected to provide an urgent response to get the team back on course.
