Sunderland Target Xhaka, Make Move for Anguissa Amid Midfield Reinforcements

Sunderland are actively working on a potential deal to bring Granit Xhaka back to English football, while also making a direct approach to the agent of Napoli midfielder Frank Zambo Anguissa earlier this week.

However, Napoli remain confident of keeping Anguissa, having already tabled a new contract offer that would keep him at the club until 2028. 

Talks are progressing positively, with the club optimistic about securing his commitment
