Sudan’s Omar Yagoub Criticizes Nigerian Forwards After CHAN Rout

Sudanese striker Omar Yagoub has taken a swipe at Nigeria’s attacking line, describing their strikers as slow and lacking in recovery speed. 

Yagoub, who netted twice in Sudan’s commanding 4-0 victory over Nigeria at the African Nations Championship (CHAN), said the Nigerian defense also committed numerous costly errors.

He added that their coach’s game plan focused on quick, direct play a tactic he believes easily exploited Nigeria’s weaknesses on the pitch.
