Sowunmi Urges Peter Obi to Stop Demarketing Nigeria at International Forums

Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party Presidential candidate, to reconsider his portrayal of Nigeria at international forums.

 This comes shortly after Sowunmi advised Obi to rejoin the PDP.

Obi had pointed out that while Nigeria, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia were all classified in the medium Human Development Index (HDI) category in 1990, Nigeria has since fallen to the low category, unlike the other three countries which advanced to the high category.
