Southeast Governors Back Tinubu for 2027 as Umahi Urges Peter Obi to Join Regional Unity

Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, has revealed that all Southeast governors are united in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. 

He extended an invitation to former Anambra governor Peter Obi to join the coalition in advancing the region’s interests under the current administration.

Speaking during an interview for an upcoming State House documentary commemorating President Tinubu’s second year in office, Umahi emphasized the President's inclusive leadership and commitment to national development.

He noted that the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is making significant progress, with toll collection expected to begin by December.
