Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Alleges Forgery in Recall Petition, Petitions IGP and Kogi CP

The legal team representing Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a formal petition to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye.

 The petition alleges that several signatures and thumbprints gathered for a recall petition against the senator were forged.

The senator's lawyers have vowed to pursue the case against those allegedly involved, including Charity Omole Ijese, Salihu Habib, and their associates.

Victor Giwa, a member of her legal team, stated, “We will continue with the petition. It is a criminal offence.”
