Senator Dickson Criticizes Government Over Contractor Payment Delays

Senator Seriake Dickson has voiced his frustration over the government’s failure to pay contractors who have completed their projects, describing the situation as a complete shutdown of essential operations.

Speaking on the issue today, Dickson suggested that the delay may be due to the government’s heavy focus on political activities and the 2027 elections, as well as its ongoing efforts to attract defectors from across the country.

"The government has come to a standstill. Contractors who have completed their work and invested their resources are not being paid. Perhaps the government is too distracted by politics and the rush to welcome defectors nationwide," he remarked.
